The Celtics moved to Minnesota in 2007. For Garnett, the Celtics traded Al Jefferson, Gerald Green, Sebastian Telfair, Ryan Gomes, Theo Ratliff in 2009 Draft in the first round and silver.
This summit was selected by Minnesota Bruins at # 28th
The reason that Boston has no first-round pick because of the large trading Kevin Garnett in July 2007. As part of the agreement to acquire KG Celtics from Minnesota in exchange for Al Jefferson, Ryan Gomes, Gerald Green, Theo Ratliff, Sebastian Telfair, and this year's first round selection (three, as the Celtics protected in the playoffs this year Wern 't deliver superior selection of 3, so no protection) to take for the selection of Minnesota to participate in the tender. There was a reason why Ray Allen and Rajon Rondo name surfaced in trade negotiations, especially for a first round pick (not) but on the trading block for the Celtics.
